Description
RLF designed the Bishop Moore Center for Excellence at Bishop Moore Catholic (BMC) High School to support the school’s continued academic and athletic excellence, reflect the school’s unique culture and identity, and successfully engage the valued BMC community. A multi-use facility, the Center is located on a previously underutilized space on campus and includes classrooms, fitness and training rooms, locker rooms, an athletic director office suite, and a tunnel providing access to the stadium field for the team’s traditional entry and exit.
We also designed the facility to bring alumni back to campus. With an 1,100-square-foot alumni center, a catering kitchen, event space, and a reception hall with two balconies overlooking sports fields, the Center acts as a hub for the active BMC community. The facility even includes a gift store where fans of all ages can indulge in their favorite Hornets merchandise.
