Entry Level Interior Designer

Career Opportunity Details

Full-time entry-level position for a creative, energetic individual with a passion for learning and interior design. This individual will be a supporting team member to the interior design department and needs to be highly motivated and work efficiently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Support senior designers
Create documents from schematic through construction documents
Assist in finish and color selection
Create finish boards, order samples
Develop furniture specifications
Coordinate drawings with other disciplines
Meet and coordinate with product manufacturers

Travel: This position will require travel to attend client meetings and conduct site visits. The candidate must have willingness and ability for air travel, including international travel. Physically able to conduct field surveys in buildings and job sites.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design from a CIDA accredited program with the ability to pursue licensure in the future
Proficiency in Revit
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to quickly adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment
Detail oriented
Professional demeanor
Good communication skills
Good time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:
0-2 years of experience in interior design
knowledge of Photoshop, Sketch Up or Lumion a plus
