Project Architect or Project Coordinator

Career Opportunity Details

Full time position for an experienced, creative and talented, licensed architect or design professional able to collaborate with both client and peers during all phases of the design delivery process.

This individual needs to be self-motivated and work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment. It is expected that this individual will be a project team leader and provide support to the Project Manager in generating quality documents that will be used for design, permitting, bidding and construction.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Ability to take direction and work self-sufficiently
Coordinate the work of internal team members and external consultants
Occasionally attend and lead client meetings
Delegate, mentor and manage junior staff

Travel:
This position will require occasional travel to attend client meetings and conduct site visits

Minimum Qualifications:
8+ years of experience producing design and construction documents
Basic computer skills and Revit
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good time management skills
Must be legally authorized to work without sponsorship now or in the future for employment visa status.

Preferred Qualifications:
License to practice architecture in the State of Florida is preferred, but not required
Graduate degree from an accredited school is a plus
Healthcare project experience is a plus
Specification writing experience
Life Safety and Building Code research and analysis
